  The elders of the 1980s are now in their 60s and 70s

  having just come back from the uk and spoke with some witnesses to find out how my old congregation is doing, i realized i am now the age that my elders were when i was a kid.

  and i wonder what the elders who are now in their 60s and 70s are thinking when they look in the mirror and an old face looks back at them.

  many of the elders in my old hall are now retired.

  My husband and I are in our 60's....

  We were out a few years ago....

  I hate lies, and liars, I hate hypocrisy.

  No way would I give any more of my life to people like that.

  Londo and his videos!

  i think this month is two years since i saw londos videos on when ancient jerusalem was destroyed.

  those videos started the whole awaking process.

  2011 was the year we had been waiting for...

  Finally, an answer as to why "this magazine" (the Awake, thru October 22, 1995, page 4) that "builds confidence in the Creator's promise of a peaceful and secure new world before the generation that saw the events of 1914 passes away"

  changed in the November 8, 1995 issue to

  "the "magazine builds confidence in the Creator's promise of a peaceful and secure new world that is about to replace the present wicked, lawless system of things."

  2011 Watchtowers (Oct 1 & Nov 1) had the articles on 607.... That did it for us. This time, there were references, books, pages, author's names. We looked them up, did the math, and were out. No 607 meant no 1914, no 1919, no GB!

  Londo's vids were great! Sometimes it's hard to simplify WT garbage. Londo, you did awesome!

  Yep, we remember AnnOMaly, and all the other diligent scholars... We could NOT believe that others had figured this out oh so long before us!

  Setback

  i saw this coming since my mother-in-law's funeral .... the congregation's "love-bombing" over my wife had its impact.

  i watched her drawing closer and closer to her friends in the congregation.

  then she decided she would attend the memorial.

  the cognitive dissonance amongst jws has never been more obvious to me then what i just experience in the last 5 min.

  long story short i had a phone conversation w/my mom about some things and i mentioned to her to look up what has been going on with their beloved organization in australia.

  brother geoffrey jackson of the holy governing body was caught lying numerous times about several subjects including disassociations & shunning.

  I think it was great to have three different experts on cults interviewed.

  I watched for the part about "Armageddon/ Hell" and really, it sounded as though he was making an overall statement about things that control people, be it Armageddon or Hell or whatever it is that will kill you. ;-)

  Great that this reality is getting out there to give victims a chance to see that they are not alone.

  Fading Game of Thrones Style

  i started watching game of thrones online back in april and watched all 5 seasons by june.. i wonder how my life would be different if i had watched it from the beginning.. if i had seen it over a year ago, i would have left the organization the way the hound left the capitol.. during a battle when sandor clegane, aka the hound, had lost half of his men and saw that the king was a coward, when told that he needs to protect the city, protect the king, he replied - f--k the king's guard, f--k the city, f--k the king and left.. i wish i would have done that.

  f--k the elders, f--k the judicial committee, f--k the gb.. best if done during a comment or from the platform.

  Magnum I remember that"true life story".. Don't buy a Cadillac, drive a VW, just so others "won't be stumbled"... Who had TWO Cadillacs? During the depression? Rutherford!

  And I remember sisters wrapping their kids shoes with duct tape because they were so poor!

  Let's see, what could the WT say? Well, Jesus only had one garment, bu a very expensive well made one!
